Art as a luxury?

Art is often referred to as a luxury, yet many artists are known as starving artists and it takes talent and effort to succeed.

Its a luxury to own art, yet everyone enjoys music and a decor or nice surroundings which improves your life. Beauty in art, a pleasing atmosphere in your home or workplace improves your well being.

So, if your lacking income and want nice decor, what do you do?

Or do you belong to a charity thats looking for ways to generate revenue and would like a framed print to auction off at church, a bake-sale, or school?

If you enjoy art, but are in need of income, but you have a website or know someone who does and enjoy art, why not? Build a gallery and be a curator, choosing your own favourites to sell, if someone clicks and buys something that day, you can earn income off the sale.

You might be pleasantly surprised at how much money you make and can use it for charity, to decorate your walls, or to spend elsewhere. In life, the way to get ahead is to build multiple income streams. Each like a little brook or river, or tap water running from a faucet, they all flow and trickle at different rates, but if they don't require much of your time, the more streams you build, the easier it is to get ahead.
All your bills stream in each month, yet most people are constrained with a job that takes all their time. You might even know someone else who fits these requirements and would do well joining and referring them? I have enjoyed helping others as my artwork has been displayed worldwide and I appreciate that I have been well supported doing what I enjoy, creating works of art and viewing art. Thanks again for viewing my art and displaying an interest in an original Sorsdahl.

P.S. As for charities, I have worked hard in life and enjoy being able to help others, by giving for causes I believe in, as there is nothing better in this world then having the capacity to get ahead to better this world and teach others to do the same.

Or put another way, thats been known for centuries...
Give a person a fish and he will be fine for a meal, teach a person to fish and he can feed himself a lifetime. Sometimes you have to throw money at a problem to solve it, other times you have to understand the pattern of a problem in order to really solve it, by taking a different direction. Other times its best just to lend helping hand or advice, at times the best help is working hard at it and other times, its knowing when to say no to those asking for help, for wanting the wrong things. My goal in life is to help others succeed as I learn and grow from my own successes.
